What is Medicare?

Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people in the U.S. who are 65 and older as well as some younger people who meet specific eligibility criteria, and individuals with certain diseases. There are four different parts to the Medicare program. Parts A and B are often referred to as Original Medicare. Medicare Part C, or Medicare Advantage, is private health insurance, while Medicare Part D offers coverage for prescription drugs. In addition to your Original Medicare, you can opt for a Medicare Supplement plan to fill in the gaps. Medicare can be one of our most confusing products—but don’t worry, we will review all of your options with you and see what best suits your particular needs.

Licensed in 12 states: MO, KS, NE, IA, IL, AR, TN, SC, OK, TX, NM, and CA.

Medicare simplified. That’s what we do!
Here’s how we do it:

1. Medicare made local. We are available to help you by phone and online. Because we are local, we know the healthcare providers and Medicare plans in your area far better than a call center located thousands of miles away.

2. Understand how Medicare works. We will provide an overview of the Medicare program and answer any questions you may have.

3. Tell us about you. Gather your physicians’ contact info and a list of your prescriptions and their doses. Having this information handy during your consultation will ensure we understands your specific Medicare needs and preferences.

4. Compare Medicare plans. We represents many Medicare plans nationwide. We will narrow this down to Medicare plans available in your area that are accepted by your physicians and hospital.

5. Apply for coverage. We will be your advocate throughout the process, submitting your application and making sure coverage begins when you need it.

6. Ongoing care. If you choose to enroll through us, we become your agent of record. We will check in with you each year during the Annual Enrollment Period to review any possible plan changes or see if your healthcare needs have changed so you are always getting a plan that works best for you.
